Part Nine, Internal Conflict; Kusaru's Choice!

[Kusaru resumes narrating in this chapter]

"Semajj, we have what's needed for the operation all we need to do now is to go to the shrine." Sadge said.
"Back to Yuki-Gakure then huh?" He asked.
"Y...yes, we need to leave soon."
"I've got all I need." he replied.
"The boat leaves in a half an hour." she said as she turned around.
"Don't worry, the sooner I get myself back to the way I was before the better." he said.
"Right." she said as she walked off.

"Sadge, where's Semajj?" Ace asked as he loaded the last box on to the ship.
“I... I don't know." She replied.
"Sorry I'm late, my nephew wanted to come so I had to wait for him to pack." Kankuro said as he walked up to the ship.
"You're the first here except us." Ace replied. "Hey Sabaku how was your time in Hoshi-Gakure?"
"I learned some new defensive Jutsu." Sabaku answered.
"Good for you." Kaji said as he walked up from behind him.
"Wow, you came alone?" Sabaku asked.
"No," Kaji said ashamed. "I came with Sakura."
Then she walked up behind him.
"Yes, he was quiet on the way here." she said.
"I wonder why." Ace said nudging Sadge in the shoulder. She laughed.
"What?" Kaji asked.
"Nothin." Ace said. Kaji glared at him.
"Just try it." Ace said as he egged Kaji on.
"Break it up you two." Semajj said as he walked on the deck. "let's hurry and get these extra souls out of me." he said as he set his bag on the floor and sat on it.
"Let's get moving!" Kaji shouted as he climbed on the boat.
"Geez,, how can you stand him, he's so... loud." Ace said to Sabaku.
"I got used to it." Sabaku replied as the boat set sail.

'Kusaru, wake up.' Semajj said as he fell asleep.
'I am, you know I always am.' I replied.
'Good, we're getting you out of me.' he said.
'Good,' I replied. 'this place is cramped anyway.'

"Semajj, wake up we are here." Ace said as he hit him in the foot to wake him up.
"Alright." Semajj said.

"Kankuro, during the night we were caught in a current." I heard the captain saying as I floated down.
"So where are we?" Kankuro asked.
"Azeroth." the captain replied.
"Alright, how long will it take to get to Yuki-Gakure?" Kankuro asked.
"A day or two." Said the captain.
Then I went back to Semajj.

'Hey, I need you to ask Sabaku if the other temple is in Azeroth.' I told him.
'What?'
'We went off course in the middle of the night, if we don't get to a temple before the full moon then we'll have to wait 'till another one.' I replied.
'So ask Sabaku if the other temple is in Azeroth?' he asked.
'Right.'
'Ok I'll ask him.'

"Hey Sabaku, Kusaru over heard that we sailed off course in the night and we are near Azeroth, he wanted to know if the second temple is here." Semajj said as he pulled Sabaku aside.
"Azeroth, yeah The Temple of Atal' Hakkar is in The Eastern Kingdoms, and The Shrine of Aessena is in Kalimdor. Actually, my father was telling me about an over population of Furblogs in Teldrassil. Plus I'd like to visit The Emerald Sanctuary in Darkshore." Sabaku replied.
"Cool , I'll tell the captain to go to Kalimdor and we'll go from Darkshore to Ashenvale then fly from there to The Shrine of Aessena." Semajj said as he ran off to speak to the captain.

'Now, what do I want to do while we are going to Kalimador?' I asked myself. 'That's it! I'll get some sleep.'
"Hey, Ace wait up!" I heard Sadge say as she ran out of her cabin.
"What?" Ace asked as he turned around.
"Hey, wanna train?" Sadge asked.
"Sure why not?" Ace replied.
'Wow, I'd love to stay and watch but there are probably better things to do than watch you two fight.' I said as I went around the Ship to look for something interesting to do. There wasn't.

When I returned to Ace and Sadge they were already fighting, Sadge had already used her alchemy to turn a plant into a tree monster thing and Ace had used his Kansei-Buki to capture the tree monster and they were both breathing heavily.
"Wow, when did you get so good?" Ace asked.
"When you started slacking off." She replied.

"Vine growth!" Sadge shouted as her little monster grew vines and threw the net off of himself.
"Nice trick, but it won't work again." Ace said.
"Don't need it to work again." Sadge said as her little tree monster attacked Ace.
"Wah, I can't move." Ace said under his breath. "Damn it."
"My new move improves my Tree-Sapling and traps you, you can't defend yourself."
"I give." Ace said as he put his sword back into his sheathe.
"Good." Sadge said as she withdrew her Sapling and the room went back to normal, I left after that.

'Ok, we are going to be in Darkshore by morning.' Semajj said as I re-entered his body.
'Good.' I said.

So I went to sleep after that.

"Semajj wake up, there is something attacking the boat!" Ace said as he burst into the room.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Some kind of dinosaur, thing." Ace responded.
"Ok, I'll be there soon." Semajj said as Ace left the door-way.

'You have any idea on what it is?' he asked as I re-entered his body.
'Looks like a Threshadon.'
“Damn, alright here goes nothing!" Semajj said as he jumped off the boat onto the monster...

"That was easy," Kankuro said as he pulled Karasu off of the neck of the dying Threshadon. "almost forgot how much fun it is to kill stuff."
"Heh, that's not good to say." Semajj said as he wiped blood off of his hands.
"Well, now that I have some free time, I can get back to bein' the old me." Kankuro said.
"What do you mean?" Sabaku asked.
"Oh, I was fired from the academy, one of the main reasons I agreed to go on this trip was to get away from Gaara as long as possible." Kankuro answered.
"Why, what'd you do?" Ace asked.
"Some kid was really startin' to piss me off so I stuck him to the wall with a couple of shuriken." he replied.
"Wow," Semajj said. "That's pretty violent."
"Hey, I had just come back from a long mission, I couldn't help it."
"Incoming! Looks like the thing from before had friends!" Sakura said as she jumped down from the crow’s nest.
"Ok!" Kankuro shouted. "Let's get movin'." Then Karasu sprang to life and jumped to the railing of the ship.
"Wait," Semajj said. "It looks like they are running away from something."

'Oh, man I hope this works.' I said as I leapt from Semajj's body into Naiguu.

"Wow, it worked." I said as I turned around.
"K-Kusaru?" Ace asked.
"Yup, it's me!" I shouted.
"You look terrible, you’re missing an arm." Sadge said.
"Well, I was gonna fix that after training but I got called on this mission." Semajj said.
"Well, at least I finally got the courage to go into a puppet." I said as I lifted the armless elbow up and down.
"We still have to worry about the Threshadon." Sabaku said as he looked at the mangled puppet that I was inhabiting.
"Wait, it looks like they are running away from something." I said as I jumped to my feet.
"Ah, Greymist Murlocs." Kankuro said.
"Huh?" Sabaku asked.
"Murlocs are a type of sea monster that live in Azeroth, the Greymist tribe lives in Darkshore." He replied.
"There are mostly Coast runners, Mystics, and Brutes." Sakura said.
"I'm gonna go on a guess and say these are Coast runners." Ace said. " I'll take care of them. Kansei-Buki!"
Then Ace Jumped off the boat, and led the monsters away from the boat.
"Good luck!" Sadge said.
"Let's hope there are no more interruptions." Kankuro said as Karasu jumped back into the boat.
"Ok we are in Darkshore now, I can see Auberdine." The captain said.
"Ok, when we get to the dock we can look around for a few minutes but then we need to get the Hippogryphs and fly to Astranaar and get to the Shrine of Assena as soon as possible." Sakura said.
"Right." Sabaku said as he picked up his bag which resembled Gaara's gourd.
"Nice bag." Kaji joked.
"Nice night cap." Sabaku said as he pointed to Kaji's hat sticking out of his pocket.
"Hey, this is only for sleeping in." Kaji said.
"Break it up you two." I said as the Puppet's head swiveled.
"That's creepy." Sabaku said.
"Agreed." Kankuro said.
"But you use puppets." Kaji said.
"They don't talk." Kankuro responded.
"Right." Sakura said as she turned around and shuttered.

So we got to Auberdine and we all went our separate ways.
About fifteen minutes later we all gathered at the inn.

"Ok, we'll all have to take our own Hippogryph." Sakura said as she walked up the ramp to the Hippogryph Tamer.

We all got on our Hippogryphs and we peacefully flew to Astranaar. We left the Hippogryph Tamer and went to the General Goods Supplier, Sadge made sure she had everything for the alchemy transmutation, Sakura looked at her healing scrolls, and Kankuro checked the Puppet and then we were off to The Shrine of Assena.

"Hey, I want to check this place out." Kaji said as he pointed to Fire Scar Shrine on the map that we bought from the vendor in town.
"Cool, Runes of Stardust, that's where the Stardust Shuriken Scroll came from I'm gonna go there." he said.
"Ok, go then, it'll be really boring at Assena." Sakura said.
"Really?" Kaji asked.
"Sure go on." Kankuro said as he hefted the puppets on his back.
"Thanks uncle Kankuro." Sabaku said as he ran in the direction of the Runes of Stardust and Kaji ran towards the Fire Scar Shrine.

So now it was just Semajj, me, Sakura, Kankuro, and Sadge. We made it to Assena safely and it was dusk when we were ready to perform the surgery.

Well, I don't think there were any complications with the surgery I was out so was Semajj.
I woke up and I was in a replica of my body.

"You'll probably be stiff, ha ha ha, for a few days but you'll soon be back to normal." Kankuro said.
"Stiff like a puppet ha." I said as I stood up and creaked.
"That should go away too." Sakura said.
"Kaji and Sabaku aren't back?" I asked.
"They went with Ace to go see a doctor since Sakura is out of chakra." Semajj said.
"Well glad to see you back to normal." I said to my cousin. "Although I feel funny, like something is missing."
"That might be Denkouiki." Sadge said looking a little embarrassed. "We lost him."
"That's ok, I don't need him anyway." I said.
"But he did say something about revenge on all of us but I doubt that." Kankuro said.

So we walked back to Astranaar, well I limped but you get it.

"Hey, Ace how were those Murlocs?" I asked as I walked into the Hospital room.
"Ha ha, very funny." He said as the Druids around the table left.
He got up. "They were easy but I ran into some Moonkin on the way here, that wasn't pretty."
"So, you think you'll be up for the tests?" Sabaku asked.
"Huh?" I grunted.
"The ANBU test, we signed up for it before the trip to Tonbogakure." Kaji said.
"Oh, nuts I totally forgot, umm when is it?" I asked.
"January Seventh, next week." Sabaku responded.
"Sure I'll be ready." I said as I stepped forward and fell. "I'll need help training."
"We got your back." Ace and Sadge said.
"Oh yeah, what happened to you two and your places?" I asked Kaji and Sabaku.
"I was jumped by a bunch of Felguards and Hounds." Kaji said. "But they were no problem."
"Same here but they were tree elementals, but I did find another Stardust Scroll."
"Yeah I found Shadow Fire Scroll too." Kaji said.

We talked for a little longer and then went back to Auberdine and got on the boat to Kiri-Gakure.
