Part Seven, Deja-Vu?

"Sabaku, what’s wrong?" Sora asked as he turned to face his teammate.
"I just have a funny feeling." he replied.
"Get over it." Sheena said as she walked by, grabbed Sora by the arm and pulled him away from Sabaku.
"Wait, don't move." Sabaku said, Sora and Sheena froze.
"What?" Sora asked through his teeth.
"Trip wires." he said as he threw a Kunai into a tree, Hajin jumped out before the kunai hit.
"So when did you notice me?” She asked.
"The moment you revealed yourself." Sabaku replied.
"Well, aren't you the observant one." Hajin said as Five Sound Shinobi jumped out of the surrounding trees.
"Couldn't face me by yourself huh?" Sabaku asked.
"You’re not alone." one of the Sound Shinobi said.
"What do you want with us?" Sora asked.
"You'll be good hostages for my plan."
"What plan?" Sabaku asked as he glance over at Sheena, she nodded.
"With you captured, Kusaru will come to rescue you and he'll fall into my trap." Hajin said.
"Good plan except, one: We won't be captured and two: if we are captured Kusaru won't fall into any of your traps." Sabaku said.
"Confident, are we?" Hajin said as she started a set of hand signs.
"Summon Sylph of Wind!" Sheena shouted as Hajin started her Jutsu.
"Summon Shikigami Wind!" Sabaku said shortly after Sheena summoned Sylph.
"Great leave me out of the combo." Sora said as he drew the Kikan-Katana. "Unlock Chakra!" he shouted as he stabbed two of the Sound shinobi with is sword.
"That's new." Sheena said.
"Yup." Sabaku said as Sora jumped back, the five Sound Shinobi were on the floor.
"What move was that?" Sheena asked.
"It is a move that opens their chakra points too much and the points explode, it's cool"
"Well you've killed my back up." Hajin said. "Oh well guess I'll use my new technique on you." She said.

"Oh, no a genjutsu." Sheena said.
"This time I hope Kusaru falls into the trap" Sabaku said...

"Hurry up, we can't fall behind." I said as we jumped from tree to tree.
"I... understand... but... c..can we... s..s...slow down.... a.. bit?" Ace huffed as he stumbled through the tree tops.
"I... agree." Sadge said.
"Lee said that he saw Hajin and five sound shinobi by the hidden sound village." I said. "Plus Sabaku said he was going on a mission this morning, they might be in trouble."
"That's why I'm here." The ANBU said. "We just have to hurry, or I'll be late for the ceremony."
"Ten Ten, what ceremony?" Sadge asked.
Ten Ten looked around and said "Some of the Konoha ANBU are being promoted to FUKA."
"FUKA?" Sadge asked.
"FUKA is a top secret organization that takes missions that are way too dangerous for ANBU while the kage is away or on another mission." Ten Ten explained.
"So, who's getting promoted?" Ace asked.
"I'm not sure."
"We're coming up on the Sand Village." I said.
"Right." Sadge answered.
"Get ready, there might be an ambush." Ten Ten said as she pulled out one of her scrolls, Sadge threw her a blood stone.
"Use that instead of a blood seal." Sadge said.
"Right, where did you get this, only Advanced Alchemists can make these."
"Umm, I made it." Sadge replied.
"Incoming." Ace said. "Kansei-Buki!" he shouted as he drew his weapon.
"Ok," Ten Ten said as she summoned her Bo-Staff. "Let's go."
"What's going on?" Asked Shikamaru as I jumped out of the trees.
"Guy's it's not a bad guy!!!" I shouted just before Ace and Ten Ten attacked.
"Whoa." Shikamaru said.
"Sorry 'bout that." Ten Ten said as she bowed to Shikamaru.
"Where are you headed?" Ace asked.
"Konoha." Shikamaru replied.
"What for?" I asked.
"The promotions, hey Ten Ten aren't you gonna be there?" he asked.
"Yeah, I just have to finish this mission."
"Ok, mind if I come along?" he asked.
"No problem." I said. "We just have to hurry."
So Shikamaru joined our group and we set off to follow Hajin's tracks.
"So what's up?" Shikamaru asked.
"Hajin has captured Sabaku, Sora and Sheena." I replied.
"Oh, how troublesome."
"Yep." Ten Ten said.
So when we got to the end of the footsteps there was a giant tree with a door sized hole in it so I went in, Shikamaru followed.
Then a trap door opened.
Ace, Sadge and Ten Ten didn't follow.

"Ouch," Shikamaru said. "What happened?"
"A trap?" I asked.
"Precisely." Hajin said as the lights flickered on.
"Damn," I said under my breath, "So what do you want with Sabaku?" I asked.
"Nothing, I can let them go now but I think I'm gonna feed them to Shuuha-Same's sharks."
"You let them go, I'm the one you want right?"
"Kusaru, calm down." Shikamaru said as he stepped in front of me.
"Shadow Copy Jutsu!" he shouted.
"What, I... I can't move." Hajin said.
"Hmm, Kusaru go find Sabaku and the others, I'll find a way to get out of here."
"Right."
So I ran down the halls of Hajin's hideout.
"Sabaku!" I shouted.
"Hello, Kusaru." Hade-Sakebi said.
"Hade, what do you want?"
"I want to keep the shark food here, but I'll let your friends go if you beat me."
"I don't have time for this." I said as I bit my thumb. "Summon Denkouiki!" I shouted as Lightning burst through the roots of the tree. "Let's go."
Hade-Sakebi slung her guitar over shoulder. "High Note!" she shouted as she strummed her guitar.
Thing got all blurry, I couldn't see for a moment. "Wanna play like that? Mud Slide!" the tunnel filled with Mud and I ran down the hall.
"Kusaru in here." I heard Sheena say.
"Glad I found you, c'mon let's go." I said as I took them down from the hooks they were hanging on.
As we ran back down the hall we saw Hade-Sakebi trying to find her way out of the mist, once we past her we met back up with Shikamaru who was standing next to Hajin who was on the floor.
When we got out of the tree we saw Ten Ten, Ace and Sadge fighting Shuuha-Same and Douji we helped them out but they bad guys got away.
"Damn." Ace said as Douji jumped out of sight.
"Let's hurry back, the promotion ceremony is gonna start soon." Ten Ten said as she ran towards the road.
"Wait." Sabaku said. "I know a short cut."
"So the trip to Konoha was only like twenty minutes instead of two hours.
To make a long story short Ten Ten, Lee, Neji and Hinata where all promoted to FUKA and Sabaku's and mine for ANBU got moved up so when three more ANBU get promoted, quit or hopefully not die, We'll become ANBU.
